bower family reunion (august 2015)

It doesn't happen too often, so the kids were pretty excited to hang out in August with Grandma Loo's side of the family at the Bower Family Reunion. Like normal, it was a pretty fast and furious couple of days.

We arrived at the hotel late and totally crashed out.
This is what it looks like in a hotel room with our big crazy fam--kids all over the place and all over each other ...

Then for the actual reunion, we had a great time hanging out at my brother's (and his wife's) awesome place in the country and catching up with each other.

This is one of my favorite pics of the weekend since it shows so perfectly how my grandma loves to chat with Kevin:).

The kids had a blast riding horses ...

(thanks to Josie and Kacie for sharing so nicely!)

Having fun on other cool things like zip lines and side-by-sides ...

And swimming in the pool ...

This is Joseph's totally excited face--no, really;)!!

The kids probably weren't so excited about this next part, but they were super good sports letting us take family picture after family picture:-).

Bottom: Our "little" family

Top and Bottom: My grandma (Great Grandma Betty) with her great-grandkids from my mom's line.

Top: Grandma Betty with (almost) all of her great grandkids

Some extra fun pics of our group in their cowboy/girl hats.

So much fun and so grateful for strong, rich, and stable roots. No family is perfect, but I feel very blessed for all of mine!!

I've been meaning to update our blog layout with the new family pictures we had taken in November. But since I'm not going to get around to it anytime too soon, I thought I'd include a couple with this post. Aren't ' they cute! The crazy part, though, is that as much as I LOVE these pictures (thanks to McKenzie Goff), they will already be outdated as of September. Here's why ... Dueck baby #5 Arriving September 24 th 2010
