brooks' big day (november 2016)

And then to finish off our big season of birthdays, it was celebration time for this new 10-year-old.

Brooks is a great kid! A little on the goofy side;). He loves to be outside in the neighborhood with his friends. He also loves chess, Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, and video games. There's always interesting ideas going on up in that brain of his, which I'm thinking he'll someday use to do great things!:)

He was pretty happy with some cash, Star Wars gear, and a bright blue Ripstik.

And of course other fun prizes and treats from his fantastic siblings.

Can't believe we now how four kiddos in double digits. Still remember being kinda blown away when the oldest reached this mark. Time seriously does fly by!

And to finish off April, we have ... Earth-Day excitement! Porter's promposal to this sweet girl!! Which involved singing to her (with his bro. and buddies) in front of about 75 surprised onlookers. Happy Birthday to G-ma Loo:-) And sunny family day at the park ... Looks like the man bun is still going strong!;)

I've been meaning to update our blog layout with the new family pictures we had taken in November. But since I'm not going to get around to it anytime too soon, I thought I'd include a couple with this post. Aren't ' they cute! Aaaaand, to finish off July 2018, we have ... Yet another crazy decision, this time to wrap our entire white truck in a giant bright green salad wrap. James builds his own scrapped together bike ramp. Porter and friends hiking adventures! Rare couple time on a beautiful sunny day in the PNW
