down on grandpa's farm (march 2018)

When it comes to pictures, March 2018 was VERY much the opposite of Feb! Why? Family road trip to Utah for Kevin's mom's wedding.

Luckily our Toyota Sienna is AWD, because we seriously needed it on this trip. In case any one is wondering ... it handled perfectly!!

Here's our cute driver:-).

You would really think that a family van would have PLENTY of space for 7 people, but I can absolutely assure you this is definitely NOT the case! Which is why this McDonald's stop was a much needed break from being squished together, smothered by blankets and pillows, and sprinkled with never-ending cookie and cracker crumbs.

Bonus! It was also a great photo op;)

The first destination of our road trip involved a short detour to Grandpa and Grandma J's house in eastern Oregon.

Grandpa pulled out all the stops, getting the tractor out just so he could hang some awesome swings for us;).

There was actually no shortage of fun things to do!

Enjoying the wide open space.
(another rarity for us Seattle-ites)

Riding bikes

Riding scooters

Driving lawnmowers

Driving tractors

(only Porter and James got in on this one)

Playing basketball

And just enjoying the quiet and relaxation of beautiful rural America!
Thanks gram and gramps!! This was an A-mazing start to our trip.

I've been meaning to update our blog layout with the new family pictures we had taken in November. But since I'm not going to get around to it anytime too soon, I thought I'd include a couple with this post. Aren't ' they cute! The crazy part, though, is that as much as I LOVE these pictures (thanks to McKenzie Goff), they will already be outdated as of September. Here's why ... Dueck baby #5 Arriving September 24 th 2010
