As if I wasn't spoiled enough for my birthday, Mother's Day came soon after just to be sure:). I didn't get many pictures, but I remember my great little fam made me a special breakfast and gave me cute homemade cards--my favorite!!
I was happy to get to honor my own sweet mother (and other mother figures!!) who has been an endless support to me, and spend time teaching Brooks how to make one of his favorite dinners--taco soup--for a Cub Scout requirement.

Being a mom is hard. There have been plenty of moments in the past 14+ years when I have thought I might go completely insane. Sometimes I have wanted to give up completely. When it comes down to it, though, being a mother is the best thing I have ever done, and I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to figure out life along with my five amazing and patient kiddos.
