And of course the fall is one big b-day bash around our house, so Joseph's big day is quickly followed by his oldest brother's. In 2015 Porter turned 14 big ones. He is also a joy to have around the house. It's hard to be a teenager, but he does a great job helping out in the family, performing at school and in his chosen sports, being a leader at church and in scouts, and just being an overall good and kind young man.
We were happy to get to spend some time honoring him on his important day.
First with some favorite foods.
Then with some favorite things ...
Mae made him a fantastic and delicious birthday cake.
Porter has rarely chosen to have a "friend party"; usually opting to just spend time with the family. This year, though, he decided to have a few buddies over to play Magic: The Gathering card game and just hang out and have fun together. Kevin was amazing and spent pretty much the entire day with Porter getting supplies at the card store, organizing a semi-official tournament;), and having fun with him and all his friends until late at night. What a great dad!!
Love you, Bud!
