pumpkin patch (october 2015)

Also in October, I had the privilege of helping out with Joseph's pre-k pumpkin patch field trip.

It seems I'm meant to be surrounded mostly by boys my whole adult life, so it's no surprise that my group was a gang of 5 darling and very energetic little males (Joe's the one in the mohawk hat).

As always, Joseph was all lit up with excitement about this new experience.

We visited the popular Spooner Farms (http://www.spoonerberries.com/harvest-festival). It's hard to see in this pic, but their little "trams" were adorable pigs, cows, etc. (complete with tails).

They had classic hay bail spiders!

Giant rope spider webs, and more!

The kids got to milk a fake cow, which was definitely interesting.

And race rubber duckies with these nifty water pump tracks.

I had such a great time with this little guy!
It was really a unique year acknowledging the fact that my baby was no longer a baby and that we had to pull away from each other just a bit. In some ways so so sad, and in other ways incredible for both of us. Love this kid!!

The crazy part, though, is that as much as I LOVE these pictures (thanks to McKenzie Goff), they will already be outdated as of September. Here's why ... Dueck baby #5 Arriving September 24 th 2010
