I know I already gave our traditional Christmas rundown last year (or maybe the year before) so I won't do that again. But here is Christmas morning 2011 in the Dueck family.
Traditional pre-kids pictures. Good thing Dad gets down nice and early to snap some shots before everything gets torn apart in the whirlwind that's called childhood;).
Ooooh.

Ahhhh.

Nice.

And the fun begins.
I was just sitting here wondering why we didn't get any pajama shots--you know, kids hovering at the top of the stairs and then sprinting down on queue (in our house meaning that Dad has turned on the Christmas music, opened the blinds, and has the camera ready and in place) dressed in comfy pjs. Then I remembered that we made them come down already dressed for church, since we are not crazy early Christmas morn risers, and church would be starting at 9:00am.
More outdoorsy stuff? shocking.

Too many fun things to list.

And this is why you don't by toddlers actual presents; they're going to end up playing with the box anyway.

Nice ball, Porter. But why do I feel like you're about to hit me in the head?

Brooks gets a new DS. Kind of a "family" gift, but he's technically the recipient. Notice that he can't take his eyes off of it.

No seriously! I think they're stuck. Someone call a doctor.

Oh forget it, he can just live this way for life.

Can anyone say addiction??

Beautiful mother and daughter, all ready for Christmas Sunday. Too fun that it actually ended up on a Sunday this year. No better way to celebrate than with an enriching Christmas program.

What a dad! Recently home from church and the new Barbie house is already assembled.

Christmas dinner and games with the missionaries (two different ones from the night before).

What a fantastic Christmas season. And since I don't think I got any photos of New Years, may as well say it was an excellent year as well!
Until 2012 ... which really means until a few minutes from now (since it is now June of course) when I quickly throw up the next post:).
