the big "11"

Of course the fall in our house is b-day city. Really! 5 in two months.

Shortly after Joseph's special day, we all met over at the skating rink to celebrate Porter's eleventh b-day.

This kid is super fantastic. He is honest and diligent and smart and thoughtful and always funny! We are so happy to have him in our family and can't wait (and yet would sometimes like to) to see him venture into middle school next year.

Outside the skating rink with the sibs (minus Brooks) and fantastic best bud.

Taking a break--learning to skate can be exhausting work (notice the sweaty foreheads).

Hey there, little bud.

Apparently even Mom needs a break;).

Not this kid, though, with the help of a little PVC skate walker, he's a skating fool.

Same with this guy. Cutest skater you ever did see.

Birthday boy done with the wheels. Time to hit the arcade games.

Eat some pizza.

And open presents (and cute homemade cards:).

We love you, big "11". Don't grow up too fast!

The crazy part, though, is that as much as I LOVE these pictures (thanks to McKenzie Goff), they will already be outdated as of September. Here's why ... Dueck baby #5 Arriving September 24 th 2010
