The trouble with getting behind with a blog is that it's hard to remember details associated with events that took place months ago ... almost 5 months in this case:(. Like why Mae chose smurfs for her "friend" party this year in the first place. She hadn't seen the movie. And she certainly hadn't grown up watching the strange little creatures on tv, like her mom.
