So, during Easter weekend we were also able to make a trip to downtown Seattle, specifically Pike's Place area. We hadn't been there since the boys were little, and between the parking lot scammer and all the interesting people (girl in a very ornate leather muzzle probably wins the prize) I think it was quite an education for them. In line at Peroshky Peroshky (kinda a family tradition). Eating our delicious salmon-stuffed delicacies ... And some pastries to top them off:). Yum! Mae the superheroe! Didn't go on it. Easter was a great day at our house. How could it not be! We were able to have Kevin home with us for a while in the morning which was a treat by itself; we happily honored the life, sacrifice, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ; we enjoyed time as a family (including Grandma and Grandpa D & Uncle Nick & Aunt Melanie) while enjoying a good deal of candy; and we were lucky enough to have a reasonably sunny day--far from a sure thing around here at the end of March. Couldn't possibly ask for more! Easter morning treats ... Happy Dad's home! Evening egg hunt at the grandparents' house. Hunting for the eggs ... Of course, most hunted for eggs. This little guy was much more entertained with the daycare bikes. Onlookers. Love this family! All of them ... Enjoying the find. Uncle Nick, the Celebrity (at least, around our house he is).
