Last but Not Least

Seriously, though, this last post from our Utah trip shows the amazing day we all enjoyed in honor of James' seventh b-day. After much deliberation on how to spend this monumental event, we decided on the the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point, and were so glad we did. Our day included hours enjoying all of the fun exhibits and activities at the museum itself, multiple visits to the museum gift store, lunch at one of the attached eateries (fun word, huh?), and a quick jaunt over to the neighboring theater for an awesome 3-D showing of "How to Train your Dragon." Fun times. Thanks for having a birthday, James.

Number Five

I've been meaning to update our blog layout with the new family pictures we had taken in November. But since I'm not going to get around to it anytime too soon, I thought I'd include a couple with this post. Aren't ' they cute! And to finish off April, we have ... Earth-Day excitement! Porter's promposal to this sweet girl!! Which involved singing to her (with his bro. and buddies) in front of about 75 surprised onlookers. Happy Birthday to G-ma Loo:-) And sunny family day at the park ... Looks like the man bun is still going strong!;)

Baby Joseph

Another little miracle, Joseph Benjamin Dueck , arrived in our family September 5 th , 2010 at 3:23pm. Of course, every mom describes the birth of her children as miraculous--I know, I feel that way about each of mine--but in this case Joseph's healthy arrival really did turn out to be something of a miracle. But before I get into the story, I have some catching up to do since I haven't blogged at all about this pregnancy. So ... Here's me on the first day of school which was just two days before Joseph was born. Since I was taking pictures of the kids, James decided I needed one as well. I'm actually glad he did, because I had been meaning to get a picture of my baby "bump" for days if not weeks and hadn't gotten around to it.
