Linda Loo Weekend Meets Ensign Ranch (2013)

Warning: There are a TON of pictures in this post. All in collages granted, but still a lot. For Linda Loo weekend 2013 we took the extended fam to one of our favorite family gathering spots in the Pacific NW--Ensign Ranch.

We had such a fun time hanging out by the river (riding log horses, skipping tons of rocks, finding snakes, fishing, and randomly meeting up with cousins-my cousins-who just happened to be visiting the ranch as well) ...

Aunt J couldn't resist her many photo shoots...

Car fun (run boys, run!) ...

Horse back riding (poor g-ma could hardly walk for a week after this escapade--what a good sport for doing the trail ride with the older grandkids!) ...

M and G dancing and posing as always:-) ...

M photo shoot ...

Random fun ...

Group photo shoot ...

Silly pics ...

Slip n' slide fun ...

Family impromptu talent show (our tradition!) ...

Get's a little crazy out there ...

More craziness ...

But so much fun!!

And, a family wagon ride (even talked cousins L and K--and their boy--into joining us).  Don't think it could get any better than that!

Number Five

I've been meaning to update our blog layout with the new family pictures we had taken in November. But since I'm not going to get around to it anytime too soon, I thought I'd include a couple with this post. Aren't ' they cute! The crazy part, though, is that as much as I LOVE these pictures (thanks to McKenzie Goff), they will already be outdated as of September. Here's why ... Dueck baby #5 Arriving September 24 th 2010

And to finish off April, we have ...  Earth-Day excitement! Porter's promposal to this sweet girl!! Which involved singing to her (with his bro. and buddies) in front of about 75 surprised onlookers. Happy Birthday to G-ma Loo:-) And sunny family day at the park ... Looks like the man bun is still going strong!;)

Baby Joseph

Another little miracle, Joseph Benjamin Dueck , arrived in our family September 5 th , 2010 at 3:23pm. Of course, every mom describes the birth of her children as miraculous--I know, I feel that way about each of mine--but in this case Joseph's healthy arrival really did turn out to be something of a miracle. But before I get into the story, I have some catching up to do since I haven't blogged at all about this pregnancy. So ... Here's me on the first day of school which was just two days before Joseph was born. Since I was taking pictures of the kids, James decided I needed one as well. I'm actually glad he did, because I had been meaning to get a picture of my baby "bump" for days if not weeks and hadn't gotten around to it. Of course, I thought I still had plenty of time to make it happen. And just very quickly, I have to throw out some highlights from this pregnancy which for some reason all have to do with Mae ... Mae telling me (during the first tri...
