workin' hard or hardly workin'??

Kevin's work has been awesome in past years about providing really great activities for "Bring Your Child to Work Day"!! We decided that Brooks was still a bit young to participate in 2014, but Porter, James, and Mae all got to go, and (as always) had a wonderful time! What a great dad, to take time out of his very very very busy work schedule to have fun with his kiddos at work.

And having a great time with more games and learning opportunities!!

What a great opportunity for kids to check out their dad's/mom's workplace and see possible future careers, etc.

Number Five

I've been meaning to update our blog layout with the new family pictures we had taken in November. But since I'm not going to get around to it anytime too soon, I thought I'd include a couple with this post. Aren't ' they cute! And to finish off April, we have ... Earth-Day excitement! Porter's promposal to this sweet girl!! Which involved singing to her (with his bro. and buddies) in front of about 75 surprised onlookers. Happy Birthday to G-ma Loo:-) And sunny family day at the park ... Looks like the man bun is still going strong!;)

Baby Joseph

Another little miracle, Joseph Benjamin Dueck , arrived in our family September 5 th , 2010 at 3:23pm. Of course, every mom describes the birth of her children as miraculous--I know, I feel that way about each of mine--but in this case Joseph's healthy arrival really did turn out to be something of a miracle. But before I get into the story, I have some catching up to do since I haven't blogged at all about this pregnancy. So ... Here's me on the first day of school which was just two days before Joseph was born. Since I was taking pictures of the kids, James decided I needed one as well. I'm actually glad he did, because I had been meaning to get a picture of my baby "bump" for days if not weeks and hadn't gotten around to it.
